Wow, I really like this Mike! I have yet to try my hand at pano shots (well, on my DSLR that is…have done a few on my iPhone). I think I smell my next theme… 😛
Ten exposures, wow. What an awesome photo. Love the ripples, reflections and the dramatic sky. The view of the boat makes all the difference, I think, in making this shot so great. The Flickr version is really great.
You have a lot of patience! I tried to do it in Yellowstone and gave up I blame it on my age not my temperament!
I envy your camera. I had the money saved and then transferred to Billings it all went to winter clothing…money well spent! Glad to visit your blog I love Oregon but Montana was calling!

10 exposures?? I agree with Elizabeth – you have a lot of patience. I can never do that. It paid off for you, though – lovely shot!
Fantastic, which software do you use to bring the images together?
Thanks – I used Photoshop Elements 9 to merge the exposures.
Nice one Mike! I love trying panoramas, I need to try one soon 🙂 For this one the thing that really catches me is the ripples/waves in the water!!
This is really nice! I want to try something similar when we go up to the Kalahari later this year.
