Wow, this was my father’s business years ago. My father(Alget Hall) owned “Lamont” – a gas station, small cluster of motel cabins, a bar, mechanic station and a very vintage store with wood floors that was a precursor to what would now be a convenience store – like a Seven-11. We sold the business shortly after my father was killed in a car accident in 1973. I drove out there in the summer of 2015. The store and gas station no longer even exist. Such a feeling of melancholy to see the image of what was once my home and my family’s life and utter ghost town in shambles. Thanks so much for posting this. A sad state of affairs – but all things change and life goes on!
