Thanks. First, I did two things no one should ever do. Put yourself in the path of a severe thunderstorm, and lean against a tall metal pole to steady the camera. I noticed that the lightning strikes seemed to come in groups and when I thought a group was about to start I just did continuous high speed shooting until the camera’s buffer was full.
