On the road just west of the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming. I saw this great view – colorful rock formations, interesting clouds, unusual quality of light – and there was nowhere safe to stop and take a photo. So I slowed down as much as I could, stuck my beloved camera out the window, and snapped a few frames. This is the result.
Drive by shooting – that’s what I call it. I’ve done a couple of those as a passenger thoughlol. Great capture.
I always wondered if I’m the only one who does this. 🙂 I don’t take chances with my bigger camera though, unless I’m a passenger and have both hands free. You’re using a SLR, right? Pretty gutsy!
Yep, I one-handed my DSLR with zoom lens out the window of a moving vehicle.
