It’s a purple flower. It has insects on it. That exhausts my floral knowledge.
I have no idea what kind of flower this is (some kind of hydrangea?)…

I was recently reminded that I promised to post at least one flower picture each year. It’s May Day, here you go. It’s a flower. It’s yellow.
Found in the high country of New Mexico. I have no idea what it is. It’s purple and I liked the way the morning light illuminated it.
