Scene from a pleasant evening drive through the farm country a few miles outside of town.
This is a panoramic image (built from 8 exposures) done without a tripod in very low light conditions. So it isn’t the sharpest photo I have ever taken. But I thought the colors made it a keeper and worthwhile to share.
Exploring the area and dodging thunderstorms this evening. Found an abandoned train station with the accompanying bullet riddled sign (a Montana staple) and a rainbow appeared.
This, in a nutshell, is what my part of western Montana looks like. Amazing big blue skies, rolling hills, farms, ranches, every shade of green, and just about any direction you look you can see mountains in the distance.
