I seem to have this strange sort of luck – I manage to wander into small towns when they’re having a parade. Kooskia, Idaho. Population 618. Parade for the Kooskia Days Festival. Here are some of my favorite shots.
Out exploring again – rolled into the town of Roundup just in time for their 4th of July parade.
While exploring Montana farm country I came upon the town of Judith Gap. A police car was blocking the road. The officer told me a parade was about to start celebrating the 100th anniversary of the opening of the town school. So I had to get a few snapshots… Update – I seem to be getting some visitors from Judith Gap – Welcome! – so I added a few more pictures.
Follow up to my earlier post “Supermoon (almost)”. My attempt to capture the full 2011 “supermoon”. Taken with a Nikon D7000, 18-200mm lens, and a tripod. Settings were ISO 100, f/8.0, 1/320 second exposure.
Puget Sound. New Year’s Day, 2011. 9:30 am. Temperature – about 28 degrees. What did I see?
