So I had an encounter with some whitetail deer and wanted to get some peaceful, serene nature photos. But the deer were not in the mood to cooperate. Sometimes a photographer gets no respect…
The first time I experienced “deer-assertiveness” was camping near Clear Lake in northern California back in 1989. They visited the campsite while I was out on the boat fishing and took a loaf of whole grain bread. Then later that night they (or their friends) came back and snorted, sneezed and puffed outside the tent for what seemed like hours. Definitely changed my perspective about the gentleness of deer. It must depend on the food supply. :^) Terrific photographs!
LOL that’s hilarious! Great captures
Funny! I like them :-)))
Maybe they had a sore throat and wanted you to check on it for them?!
