    • It was late in the day, the sky was mostly cloudy as a snow storm was rolling in, so the colors were washed out even with HDR. And I thought the color version didn’t capture the feel of the place – the cold and the quiet, just the sound of the wind moving over the field. Black and white seemed to capture everything better.

  1. I have been receiving your photographs emailed by Tau Zero. Very beautiful photos. As a fourth generation Montanan, they are very familiar and comforting to me. I love my home. Being blessed by God to live here is a tradition passed to me by my Grandfather, Dwight Hugh Smith, of Lincoln, Montana. Thank you for revealing the beauty of this wonderful place.

  2. Gorgeous picture!

I’m working on a little short art film, and it would be a big help if I could use this image. Couldn’t find your email on the site- but feel free to continue the conversation via email 🙂

    Thanks!
    David
