Thanks – I was surprised that one came out as good as it did. I was shooting straight into the sun so I could barely see what I was doing, I did the pan really fast to get the steam before it changed too much, and I was shooting without a tripod. And the sulfur smell of the hot spring was making me a bit woozy. I think one thing that helped is that I over-shot the panorama, getting about 50% overlap between frames so I would have more to work with when constructing the final image.

You really nail these big panoramas. With all those lines, the steam moving, the delicate textures and yet the stitching is flawless. Very nice job!
