This is Sticks practicing his “play dead” trick. Scared the heck out of me the first time I saw it. Any time the sun comes out it’s naptime for Sticks. You would think he got hit with a tranquilizer dart. Also explains why he is usually covered in mud.
Oh, I wuld be scared to death too! I love horses! But still – he’s awsome and so funny))))) Thanks for sharing!
reminds me on Bongo, he is the same, mud inclusive. 🙂
Now that’s funny. I took some time and went through your pictures – I really enjoyed them. Great scenery images beautiful work.
Love the “playing dead.” As always, I enjoy your photos and outlook. I have decided to pass on the Versatile Blogger Award to you. Check out my latest post on the Versatile Blogger Award for the details!
LOL… Sticks sure has a humorous personality. 🙂
Man Mike, when I first saw the image of Sticks my heart just about jumped! Nice trick Sticks.
Sticks is just practicing “lying down,” something horses cannot do for extended periods of time like us due to their extreme weight. Looks like he’s learned early “the pleasures of life.” Is he yours?
Sticks is not mine – but considering how much he eats that isn’t necessarily a bad thing… he isn’t even two yet and he is probably the biggest horse on the ranch 🙂
