  1. Too cold to continue?? Colder than that day in Seattle? 🙂

    I like the perspective of the photo – how you are looking up the rocky hill towards the trees. The B&W does give it that feeling of cold.

    • It was about the same as Seattle – but in this case I stood still for about an hour waiting to see if some eagles would show up and that did me in.

    • Portrait shot would have been good – I think my brain was halfway frozen at that point. Will keep that in mind next time I go up there.

    • Seattle is a good place to be a photographer. Within a few hours drive you have two mountain ranges, an ocean, and many lakes. Makes up for the cold and the rain.

  2. I love your perspective. It DOES get cold shooting in the winter. Maine has been brutal.

    • I remember trying to help a friend build a fence in Maine in early June. We hit frozen ground trying to dig the post holes. Unreal.
